kennkaniff asked: How is college lacrosse different than high school lacrosse?
Well it definitely takes up a lot more of your time. Games pretty much take up all day, from getting ready, getting there early, warm up, the game, time afterwards, and away games especially take up all day. Your team will start to seem more like family than your high school did because you’re together all the time, which is definitely a plus, thats one of my favorite parts, the girls on my team are my sisters. As for the actual sport, compared to my high school, we run a lot more plays, theres way more technique when playing defense too. In high school usually your coach makes up the plays and decides mostly what you do, when in college theres a lot more communication, for what will work and what we should work more on in practice, its just more equal ground from coaches to players. If you’re thinking about playing in college, id say its hard work and takes up a lot of time but its one of the best decisions i’ve ever made, and i think you definitely should do it.
