These nikes have been with me for quite some time. They’ve run the streets of my hometown. The streets of my college town. Some streets from Florida to the middle of the ocean on a cruise ship. The’ve run races. They’ve walked cancer walks. They’ve run for the love of the run. They’ve seen me struggle through timed miles and breeze through 5 miles. They’ve run under me practice after practice. They’ve pushed me through years of lacrosse tryouts. They’ve seen me amongst the last, they’ve seen me in first. They’ve seen me make varsity and seen me be put on JV. They’ve seen a lot of time on the sideline and now they’ve seen me work to earn my place on my college team. They’ve seen the inside of many gyms and the grass of many fields. They’ve seen summers through winters, springs and autumns. They’ve run with me out of happiness and they’ve run out of resent. They’ve been through a lot. But they’ve stuck by me through it all.
WELL fall ball is almost over, it ends with our alumni game on sunday, but we had a tournament on saturday, we won 3 games and tied 1, it was awesome, our team looks so good already and we work so well together. Its like when we do something good and feel good about it, we just bounce off that and keep doing awesome things and then we feel so good, its awesome. So someone go caught drinking the day before our tournament so coach ran us yesterday, which i mean, was kind of torture, but if you want a good work out, these sprints are totally something you should do.
-First, full field sprints. Restraining line, back Half, Back Far restraining, back End line, Back -Do this twice
-Next, (we did it with a partner) Restraining line and back four times Half and back eight times End line and back four times
-Third Half and back Full Field and Back
-Last With team, Four times around field, indian run
coach has me playing defense, i think shes gonna want me as a d wing, cause of my speed, but i’m 5’ 1” and 96 lbs, i gotta think big i guess, i got kinda rocked today, but i actually kinda dig it, soooo gotta work on quick feet and being tough, i am loving this.
i had it sunday, tuesday, thursday got cancelled and today.
Felt pretty good Sunday, but wasn’t as happy about Tuesday, but today i really felt good, really comfortable and thought i played really well. Im trying to stop focussing on who she’d take over me, and focus on getting her to notice me regardless about the other girls skills. So i have it again this Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, and then i think we know the team after that. cross your fingers.
